Got this for my 10 year old daughter. Shipped on time, came with all the parts and so far works great. I was particiularly impressed that CS contacted me because my email address looked funny (it does, but it was right). I appreciated that there were human eyes on my order. Only surprise - I didn't see an owners manual in the box, but I didn't need one, so no biggie. Oh, and on my daughter's second time on the board she got to paddle around with a harbor seal!

My daughter is 8 and it fits her perfectly. She loves it! She's able to paddle and maneuver around the water with no issues. I have to say that Thurso Surf customer service is also awesome! I was going to buy a new pump for this board because the one i already have for a different brand didnt work. They help me troubleshoot and figure out what i needed to do and i didnt need a new pump. Delivery was fast. The board is 3 for my daughter but I really wish I would of gotten a full-size for her, she is 10 and petite but not super stable. There was glue on the board But cute board

Amazing Quality All Around

I bought this for my 8 year old and a pink one for my 5 year old. The quality is amazing. They inflate and deflate quickly and fold up nicely. They will love these boards for years to come.

best boards ever

My kids - 10 year olds - were up and paddling on their Prodigy's within minutes. They love these boards. They are much thinner and have less volume that an adult board, and hence inflate very quickly - a pleasure for the parent for sure. Also, the paddles are smaller, sized for a kid, as is the leash. Thurso, for some reason, doesn't tell you this! All in all, a remarkable board. Designed for kids. And lighter and smaller than a big board so also great for the parents too. As well, I have an adult Thurso, and the fins are completely interchangeable - which makes it quite handy during setup.

Great boards for my boys!

I have a 12yo and 9yo, 74 and 47 pounds. So, not the biggest. These boards are well made and perfect for them! My wife and I purchased some cheaper boards and you can tell the difference!

I bought two for my daughters ages 6 and 9. They absolutely love them! They paddle with my wife and three year old every morning! The equipment is great quality and each came with bag and pump! Great board, heavy and large paddle

Purchased this as a first board for my 6 year old. The board looks great, the top half of the paddle is very light and at its shortest setting is perfect for her (she’s tall for her age) however the size and weight of the blade end really surprised me. I don’t think Isabella will be able to use this for years yet. Missed opportunity to have a great all round children’s starter package.

Pump not included

Very disappointed that the kids model is the only one that doesn't come with a pump included. Children's items should have the least barrier to fun. Now at a cottage and unable to use it with a very disappointed child $500 later.

Sweet board

Great for kids!

I gave this to my daughter for her 9th birthday. She loves it! It is light enough that she and her 6 year old brother can carry it together. It is very maneuverable and easy to use for a kid. The light paddle makes a big difference in making it user friendly for a kid too. We paddled together for 2 hours earlier this week - made it all over the lake together and she had a great time!
