First and foremost, I found this SUP Kayak Seat to be well designed, easy to install and adjust, comfortable and reasonably priced. After using it for two days, problems developed with the two front strap clips! One separated into two pieces and the other became "stretched" out (See pics). This occurred while simply sitting on the SUP enjoying the surrounding views. Clearly, the clips failed due to excessive force (e.g., defined as enough to make them fail). I am about 5'11" and 172lbs and I may have been sitting back in the seat vs. more upright, but one would not think this would cause such damage to the clips. I am not planning to warranty the seat, as I do think it is a good seat. The clips, however, are obviously lacking and I will be replacing them with ones that will be much stronger (Something for Thurso Surf to consider in their future manufacturing process)...

During the first use two of the carabiners broke. I changed them to proper stronger, standard carabiners (not really meant to be used for this purpose).

Then during the second use the material got torn.

I’m 6’ 220lbs and after the first paddle the front latches were bending open. I replaced them with something stronger.

Mit dem Paddel bin ich sehr zufrieden, es ist gut in der Handhabung und vom Gewicht her nicht schwer. Was ich gut finde es zu kombinieren, man braucht keine 2 Paddel Set‘s und kann ganz einfach umstecken, entweder als Subpaddel oder als Doppelpaddel verwendbar zum rudern, top :-)

First time using a SUP. I bought the Tranquility Yoga SUP specifically for stability for exercising. Haven’t fallen off yet, lol! I feel confident on the this very well made board. Plus it’s beautifully designed.

This really helps with the awkwardness of carrying the SUP. It helps to distribute some of the weight onto the body, so you don't have to super grip carry from the handle alone. My mom's board doesn't have the convenient little clips - but she opted not to add them herself. She's fine with looping it through the handle and clipping the ends together.I personally love how the shoulder pad glitters. Its very subtle, but a nice touch. Overall this strap seems to be made pretty well and shouldn't fall apart after one or two uses.

Getting the paddle board to the lake is always a struggle. I usually end up dragging it on the ground, which I know is not a good thing to do.This strap has 2 sides to clip on your board's hooks.It works great!

I was having a hard time carrying the SUP with just using the single handle. This solves that.The strap is made of high strength nylon. This will not break or fray. Adjustable.Rust-free swivel clips are great. They are like caraniners which fasten to the D rings of your SUP.Love the rubber mesh back. It gives a little cushion and also prevents the strap from sliding off your shoulder. Wishing it had more padding in it.Everything is water-resistant. Stitching is impeccable.I also plan to use this with my 40L roll top compression sack which has the ordinary strap which digs in to my shoulder and bruises my skin.Happy of this order.

FIRST IMPRESSION/CONTENTS:The Paddle Board/SUP Adjustable Padded Carrying Strap from THURSO SURF arrived in a giftable box.The strap is clearly strong, the stitching is more than adequate for this use, and it has the right amount of neoprene padding (neither too little, nor too much) which also keeps it from slipping around. The quality is self-evident when you see this.Prior to purchase, however, it would be wise to confirm your SUP has D-rings, and that they are in a useful location. Without them, you'll not be able to use the strap. Further, if they're both located close to the rear (or front) of your SUP, the strap's usefulness will be negligible at best. Not much point with just a strap at the end as you'd essentially be attempting to carry the entire SUP ahead (or behind you).As I noted above, the quality is there, however, whether a "strap" is worth $55 (plus tax) is up to you to decide.I hope you found this review helpful to your decision making.

So first off: this shoulder strap is very high quality. You know how some items you can just feel that it's well made? Well, this strap is it. The strap is solid and not a single fray on it at all. The actual shoulder pad is soft and has a really great feel to it. The hooks are very nice and sturdy. It is indeed a VERY nice strap and worth every penny.HOWEVER, the downfall is that I thought it would have come with something to stick on to your SUP to attach it to! Not every SUP has 2 D-Rings to hook this strap on to. I would have really liked to have seen a sticky pad with an D-Ring on it to stick onto my SUP to actually use this strap. I tried hooking it onto the middle handle but as you can see, the handle is too wide for these hooks to get around. Sadly... I cannot use this strap with my SUP :( I will probably end up putting it on my mother's kayak whereas we can add a D-Ring to that easier.Amazing strap, but sadly... not versatile.

One of our paddle boards is wider and harder to transport, this is where this Carrier Strap comes handy!I was amazed by the quality of it! Solid sowing, well padded and great clips to attach to hooks or the handle.Not cheap, but worth the $30 as it's well built.

This strap is made of good quality material! It's easy to adjust and feels comfortable on the shoulder. When I bring my cooler it makes my SUP havier and this strap really helps me! I feel like it's much easier for me to carry my paddle to the water or to the car.

This SuP strap is amazing! It's double and triple stitched and the padding is more than adequate to feel great on your shoulder. It is fully adjustable, and helps tremendously to carry my SuP. It fits on any D ring or molle attachment, and makes walking to the water with your SUP effortless. It is much more than a luggage strap because of the way that it is constructed and padded. I can highly recommend it!

I was excited to finally use my paddle board I bought 18months ago. So before finally schedule vacation outing I bought the seat for my 6 year old to be comfortable and feel safe. So brand SUP and seat at Lake Arrowhead, boat wake flipped the board over, the bag which came with is not really secure on the seat as shown, gone and seat torn!!! I cant load a pic but I will be happy to send it.

So fun to kayak on my SUP! I felt supported enough by the seat to be able to lean into my strokes and I was comfortable with paddling. My only suggestion is having some sort of foot support, perhaps a wedge that can also attach.
